President Joe Biden is taking heat from unlikely sources, as his false narrative about Georgia voting laws unravels in real time.
Last month the Georgia legislature passed a sweeping bill that made changes to decades old voting code. Since then, the Biden administration has relentlessly gone on the attack, claiming the statute is racist and even going as far to say that it is “Jim Crow in the 21st century.”
Biden falsely stated the new law “ends voting hours early so working people can’t cast their vote after their shift is over.” In two separate statements, he said the law forces polls to close at “5 o’clock.” It doesn’t. Georgia polls will be open on voting days from 7am to 7pm, the same time frame voters have in the majority of states.
The Washington Post was quick to call out the misinformation. Their March 30 headline read, “Biden falsely claims the new Georgia law ‘ends voting hours early.'”
Another false claim by Biden is that voter’s will be prohibited from drinking water while standing in polling lines. The truth is the new law prohibits campaigning within 150 feet of a polling location, a rule that is also shared by the majority of states. Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp rejected the Biden criticism in a Monday interview with Breitbart News. “It just keeps, you know, the NRA or Sierra Club or whatever special interest group — people that are running for office — from handing out food or water in the line, so it’s not as outrageous as people are making it out to be,” Kemp said.
In addition to the Washington Post, Biden’s misinformation campaign is being dismantled by CNN, MSNBC, and other outlets that traditionally lean left. CNN stated the president’s narrative “misleadingly describes” the new Georgia law, while an MSNBC headline insisted “Biden needs to keep it honest.”
Last week, the president used his spin on Georgia’s law to successfully convince Major League Baseball to boycott the Peach State by moving their mid-summer All Star Game from Atlanta to Denver. “Major League Baseball fundamentally supports voting rights for all Americans and opposes restrictions to the ballot box,” the league said in an April 2 statement.
Despite Biden’s claim that voting access has been diminished, the new Georgia law actually expanded access by adding additional days to the early voting schedule, as pointed out by Senator Tim Scott.
In a recent tweet, Scott compared Georgia and Colorado voter access, highlighting that Georgia’s new law makes voting more accessible to black voters.

Colorado: Voter ID, 15 days of early voting.
Atlanta is 51% Black.
Denver is 9.2% Black.
The @MLB is moving the #MLBAllStarGame out of ATL which has more day-of voting rights than CO?
The Wokes are at it again, folks.
For more than two years, the left wing media has praised Biden as a rare politician who does not tell lies. The seemingly unified narrative was that Biden could be trusted, while Donald Trump could not.
But that was before the voters cast their ballots. Now that the election is over and the left succeeded in ousting President Trump from the Oval Office, some of the media has decided to report the facts. And those facts shed light on what many of us already knew: Joe Biden lies.
