Protesters Did Not Know Who They’d Be Protesting, But They Were Ready

President Trump’s announcement to appoint Brett Kavanaugh did not come until 9pm Eastern Time on Monday, but leftist protesters were prepared hours before with signs ready to go for whomever the pick turned out to be.

Reporter Amanda House snapped a photo of three different versions of professionally printed protest signs, one for each of the three possible SCOTUS picks. She said one of the protester proudly told her, “Gotta be prepared.”

Other protesters took a more cost efficient approach, bringing homemade signs that were absent of a name. When the President announced his choice, they filled in the blanks.

Democrat Senators took turns at the podium to lambaste the President’s nominee. Potential 2020 presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren shouted, “We are in the fight of our lives.” Senator Bernie Sanders, speaking in a choppy, robot-like voice said, “This is a tough fight, but it-is-a-fight-that-we-can-win.”  Earlier, he told reporters, “We’re gonna do everything we can to defeat this disastrous nomination.”
