Stormy Daniels Asks For ‘Privacy’ After Husband Files For Divorce

Stormy Daniels, the porn star who catapulted herself into the political spotlight when she claimed to have an affair with President Trump a decade ago, has announced she and husband Glendon Crain will be divorcing – and her lawyer is asking for “privacy.”

Crain filed the petition on July 18 in Texas, where the couple live with their 7 year old daughter. He is seeking custody of the child and support. Daniels’ attorney posted a tweet Monday morning announcing the proceedings and asking for privacy.

Daniels, who has been known in the adult film industry for some time, found herself on the world stage after she announced she had one-time relations with Trump. She claims she was paid $130,000 by attorney Michael Cohen in exchange for her silence.  If such an agreement did exist, experts say she has broken it.

Adding to the drama, Cohen’s offices were recently raided by FBI agents as part of the special counsel investigation looking into whether or not Trump colluded with Russian meddling of the 2016 presidential elections.

Social media users were quick to point out the irony of Daiels asking for privacy after not granting the same to the Trump family. She responded with a late afternoon tweet, “I don’t need or want privacy. I want truth. And it will come out. I’m not afraid.”

Daniels has recently begun cashing in on her newly found notoriety.  She has been making paid appearances at strip clubs throughout the country.
